Celebrate Heart Health on World Heart Day

RSS

The last year or so has made all of us more aware of the need for good health.  And while COVID-19 has dominated the headlines, cardiovascular disease remains the world’s number one threat, killing more than 18 million people worldwide every year.

As we approach September 29, World Heart Day, consider how you can boost your heart’s health.  Work on improving your diet, giving up tobacco if you smoke, and try to get regular exercise.

Finally, don’t let concerns about COVID-19 keep you from attending your regular doctors’ appointments.  It’s important that they see you regularly, so they can be on the lookout for any potential problems.
