Vinegar can work miracles for your health … but it can also work miracles around the house! The best part is, it can replace some of the dangerous chemicals you may have in your cabinets. Take a look at 5 great household uses for vinegar:

  1. Kills Weeds: No need to buy expensive, chemical-filled, weed-killers. Just mix a gallon of vinegar, 1 cup of salt, and a tablespoon of dish soap! Spray it on those pesky weeds and watch them vanish.

  2. Removes Stains from Clothes: Simply spray on to heavily soiled areas of your well-loved clothes. Let it soak for 30 minutes. Then, throw them in the wash like you normally would!

  3. Multi-Purpose Cleaner: Mix equal parts water, vinegar, and alcohol. You can add a couple of drops of dish soap and 10 to 15 drops of your favorite smelling essential oil to cover up the strong vinegar scent!

  4. Unclog Your Drain: Mix ½ cup of baking soda with ¼ cup table salt and pour down the affected drain. Then pour 1 cup of heated vinegar down the drain. Be sure to cover it with a plug to prevent the bubbles from escaping! Let it soak for 15 minutes, and then pour boiling water down the drain.

  5. Deodorize: Smelly couch? Pet use the bathroom on the carpet? Just spray with some white vinegar to neutralize the odors!
