Use Your Pillow to Prevent Pain!

Sleeping the wrong way can make your pain worse! Check out the tips below to learn how to position your pillow to prevent back and neck pain.

Back Pain: Sleep on your back to help with pain. To find your most comfortable position, see if you can easily fit your hand in the space between your lower back and mattress.

If yes, bend your knees until your back touches your hand and slip a pillow underneath your knees. This keeps your spine from arching unnaturally.

Neck Pain: Keep your spine in line as you doze. If you’re a side sleeper, choose a pillow that fills the gap between your neck and shoulder.

If you sleep on your back, use a thin one to position your neck parallel to the mattress.

You can support the natural curve of your spine with a neck roll pillow. Or simply place a rolled towel inside the lower edge of your pillowcase.

And don’t forget to apply Frank K. Wood’s Pain Relief Rub® before you lie down. It won’t keep you awake with a strong, unpleasant odor — it will just bring sweet relief!
